Because I cannot not communicate with the students family, I will encourage them to invite their family to watch and critique their skills as they practice before grading, in school. With my students as adults, they can only collaborate among classmates and other programs. I will team together the Surgical Technology and Respiratory students. In this collaboration the students will perform their role as a Surgical Technologist during a C-Section delivery. The Respiratory students role is to take the baby after delivery. Each team will work on their patients in the same room in a collaborative effort amongst invited open campus guests and perspective students for each program. During this event all social media and hospital members are invited to see the basic skill set of each student from the different programs.
