Concern “Kalashnikov” has significantly increased its presence on the global small arms market after the imposition of sanctions, said the head of state Corporation “rostec” Sergey Chemezov at SPIEF-2018.

He also noted that Russia lost American and European markets sporting firearms in connection with a hit under US sanctions Rosoboronexport.

“Markets that we have lost – it is primarily American and European, the volume there was a small, mostly sold sporting firearms production of “Kalashnikov”, – said Chemezov to the question of which markets Russia has lost from-for hits of “Rosoboronexport” under the US sanctions.

He also said that rostec does not bear any losses from falling of “Rosoboronexport” under the sanctions.
