Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has signed a sponsorship agreement with the International Federation of football Association (FIFA) world cups in Russia (2018) and Qatar (2022), reported the press service of FIFA. This is the third Chinese company wishing to sponsor the tournament. The agreement was signed on may 31.
Vivo six-year contract will allow Chinese companies to advertise their products in the world championship, the first of which will be held in Russia, the second in Qatar. The transaction value was not disclosed. Under the contract, Vivo will be the sponsor and the confederations Cup 2017 and 2021 years.
World Cup 2018 will be held from 14 June to 15 July at 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, Saransk, Volgograd and Rostov-on-don.
