Russia banned the adoption of international biathlon competitions

Congress of the International biathlon Union has changed the rules of international competitions in this kind of sport. Now Russia will not be able to take tournaments, while the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA) will not be reinstated.

The amendments became the World anti-doping Agency, which earlier appealed to the international federations on sports with the recommendation that the competitions of the highest level like cups of Europe and the world must be conducted only in countries relevant to the WADA code and have accredited anti-doping Agency.
