The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that he agreed with Russian President Vladimir Putin about a meeting in the near future.
“Some time ago I spoke with President Putin. We agreed to meet in the near future to continue coordination in the field of security,” Netanyahu said at the Cabinet meeting.
The broadcast was carried out in Facebook Prime Minister’s office.
Russia considers Israel responsible for the death of the Russian military in the crash of the plane Il-20, which Israeli F-16 exposed Syrian air defenses. Israel denies this. Moscow said that to ensure the safety of its troops will deliver to Syria the s-300, although I refrain from supplying, at the request of the Israeli authorities.
This week defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that four launchers s-300 and other equipment have already arrived in Syria. To train the Syrian military to work with them is planned for three months.
