In the Kola Bay of the Barents sea will create four artificial Islands for offshore structures.
The corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the document published on the government website.
In these areas the project NOVATEK will build marine complexes for liquefied natural gas and gas condensate.
“Artificial land plots will be created at the expense of own funds of OOO “Kola Verf” (subsidiary of “NOVATEK” – Republic). The volume of capital investments will exceed 25 billion roubles”, – is told in the decree Medvedev.
Also in the Kola Bay will build a shipyard for equipment used in the development of offshore fields.
TASS said that the construction of the shipyard will begin before the end of 2017, next year will be laid floating factories for liquefied natural gas.
