In Russia created a unified system of biometric identification

Rostelecom developed a unified Russian system of biometric identification and has already started active testing. The project is created at the initiative of the communications Ministry and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and its unofficial slogan assigned Internet users, this phrase “will consider you” from the famous Soviet cartoon.

The new system will identify the Russians on a number of parameters. Everything starts with face recognition and voice recording, and then in the database are made a scan of the iris, palm vein patterns and fingerprints. All this is aimed primarily at increasing the level of security of the Russian banks – no one else will be able to take the credit on a foreign passport as identification will not work on the new system.
