As informs “Mosgortrans”, the tested model has a power reserve of about 50 kilometers. This provides for the ability to quickly recharge the battery pack directly on the route. This procedure takes from 4 to 10 minutes and can be done at special stations.
With this system, it becomes possible to significantly reduce the size, weight and cost of batteries, which are mounted on the bus.
Machine Linkker has a low-floor design. Provides climate control; a maximum capacity of 77 passengers.
“The feature vehicle is the concept of distributed fast chargers on the route in combination with small batteries. Thus, we consider the question of integration of buses into the existing infrastructure of the Metropolitan electric vehicle“, — said General Director of GUP “Mosgortrans” Yevgeny Mikhailov.
Testing of the electric bus will run throughout the month. This will be evaluated running characteristics of the machine and economic feasibility of using such vehicles in Moscow.
You also need to add that in Moscow and in Saint-Petersburg successfully passes the test of the electric bus “KAMAZ”.
