Igor Sechin, who heads Rosneft, have sent Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev a letter with a proposal to appoint a turnaround of the Bank “Peresvet”, which kept their money diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, all-Russian regional development Bank (RRDB), controlled by Rosneft. About it writes “Interfax” citing a source in the government.
The document was also signed by leaders of several major lenders financial institutions: the head of “RusGidro” Nikolay Shulginov and President of the chamber of Commerce and industry Sergei Katyrin.
The authors of the letter ask the Prime Minister to support the proposal on reorganization of the Bank. According to the source, Medvedev sent a Vice-Premier Igor Shuvalov and the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina resolution with the request “to support the appeal in part of all decisions on the reorganization of the Bank”.
