Great concept of universal Kia for Frankfurt motor show

On the basis of this concept Kia so far, no model not provided, and perhaps it never will be.

At the Frankfurt motor show Kia will show a concept sports wagon, intended to demonstrate design elements the following compact CEE’d and possibly a separate model, which can be a crossover.

The concept is made in a style that Kia calls a “design an elongated hot hatchback”. Kia notes that the appearance demonstrates trekhgornyy updated and current version of the Pro-CEE’d CEE’d models, suggesting that Kia can represent the model with the fastback body of his new CD, instead of the three-door model, exactly as it was made by sister company Hyundai with its new i30 compact.

“We don’t make concept cars without any reason,” said a source in avoidany Kia Automotive News Europe. “This is a very serious reflection for a free-standing model.”

Sister brand Kia, Hyundai is also debuting at the Frankfurt motor show with the fastback version of its latest compact car i10.

The standard version of the new CEE’d hatchback might make its debut at the Geneva motor show in March, the source said.

The current CEE’d was launched in 2012, and the version presented at European dealers Kia produced at the plant in Zilina, Slovakia.

The Frankfurt concept is different illuminated door handles, rear lights light panels the whole width of the body and sculpted wheel arches that give the car a more sporty look.
