Odessa MP Alexei Goncharenko, representing the bloc of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, in front of the TV cameras thrown to the floor and trampled his Deputy ID, demanding a visa-free regime with the EU.
When journalists reminded the MP about his colleague in the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Lyashko, who promised to surrender his diplomatic passport to obtain a Ukraine visa-free regime from EU, Goncharenko noted that he is ready to surrender your diplomatic passport, reports “Timer”.
“He’s not with me now, but there is a certificate of the people’s Deputy”,– said Goncharenko, and then got the document, thrown to the floor and stepped, adding: “Passed”.
According to Goncharenko, Ukraine has fulfilled all the requirements of the EU regarding “bezveze”, which is confirmed by the officials.
“Some forces in the European Union we are trying to “throw”. And it’s wrong, it’s not fair. It is cheating… Do what you promised. You are responsible for those who tamed”– said the Deputy of the Odessa.
As reported by the media citing a senior Ukrainian diplomatic source, the visa liberalization between Ukraine and the EU to block France, Germany and Belgium.
Recall, November 10 on the website of the President of Ukraine, citing EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn reported that Ukraine has fulfilled all the criteria and in the coming weeks, the European Union must fulfil its commitments on the abolition of visas.
Before foreign Minister of Ukraine told the EU Ambassador that further delay in the decision on granting visa-free regime for Ukrainians is unacceptable and should not depend on the development of a mechanism for the suspension.
October 23, Poroshenko said that until 24 November, the European Parliament ratified the documents on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime with the EU.
In October in Brussels at the EU summit it was decided that in the coming weeks, the EU needs to reach agreement on the mechanism of freezing of a visa-free regime. It’s part of the debate on the abolition of visas with Turkey, but the decision applies to other countries-candidates for “bezviz” – Ukraine, Georgia and Kosovo.
If EU countries adopt “the mechanism of freezing”, this means that: even if a visa-free regime with the Ukraine will be introduced, it can be canceled at any time in a simplified administrative procedure – if a country “abusing the terms” visa-free regime.
